Some time ago we were asked to create a photorealistic animation of a lion. For this task we used Ziva Dynamics for muscle and skin simulation, Maya for rigging and animation and Houdini for hair grooming, simulation, lighting and shading. Here is a showcase of “the Lion” asset, enjoy in 2K and sound on!
